What is ISO 9001:2000?

 ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization. The ISO 9001 is primarily concerned with "quality management", the 2000 stands for the revised standard.
This means we need to fulfil

• the customer's quality requirements;
• applicable regulatory requirements;
• enhance customer satisfaction; and
• achieve continual improvement of its performance in pursuit of these objectives.

ISO 9001:2000 is only for those who have proven that their quality management system complies with the requirements. And only after being audited by an independent party.

What does ISO 9001:2000 mean for you?

For our customers it basically means we have to fulfil certain standards to meet the quality issues set by the ISO organization. Basically our quality objectives come down to:
