High Target Use - High Yield Option (HY)

Target utilization: 45% - 60% (non-magnetic material). Unique multipole magnetic array. Wide erosion surface to minimise the re-deposition area on target. Suitable for expensive target material. Increase process up-time by 100%. Possible to combine with SW or PP, HU, HS and LS options. Any mounting options can be combined. Recommend low profile anode

The High Yield (HY) optional magnetic array increases the target utilization from typically 25% - 35% for standard two pole magnetics to 45-60%. The enhanced target use is created by additional magnetic poles within the magnetic system to deform and flatten the magnetic field structure over the target surface.
The High Yield magnetics are available in all targets width of 4" or 100 mm and greater. They can be used on targets with or without target centre clamps.

The High Yield magnetics are the most commonly produced magnetic type and are recommended for most applications where increased machine up-time or reduced material costs are required. Please refer to Target Erosion for more detail. 45% Percent Guarantee Gencoa are so confident of the performance of the HY magnetics that we will refund the HY cost if at least 45% of the target is not achieved (by weight). This based upon a 100, 125  & 150mm wide bonded target type under normal operating conditions. The actual target use should be 50-60% - anything less than 45% and you will 'get your money back'.
